She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Leuning and Margaret Leuning (Nolte); her brother Warren Leuning; her brother-in-law Jim Larson (Barb); Art and Bernice Larson.

She is survived by: her husband Gale Larson; her children, Tom Larson (Angela) of Marshall, MN, Brian Larson of Kearney, NE and Beth Welch; her grandchildren, Tristan Fales, Trevor Fales (Julia), Tanner (Cassie Fox), Sarah Welch, Marty Welch (Samantha Reil), Dylan Larson and Sydney Larson; and her siblings, Joan Costello (Gene), Paul Leuning (Alison) and Luverne. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Garretson American Legion Auxiliary or the Garretson Fire Department Building Fund.
