He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Nitzschke and Florentine Nitzschke (Stoos); his son Kevin Nitzschke; and his siblings, Elmer Nitzschke (Karen), Dale Nitzschke (Linda), John Nitzschke, Shirley McLaughlin (Robert) and Norma Jean Petersen.
He is survived by: his children, Nicholas and Kerri Nitzschke (Shay Whittaker); his grandchildren, Payton and Luke of Canton, Connecticut; his great grandchild Nicholas Nitzschke; his grandson Tylen Nitzschke of Sioux Falls; and his siblings, Ron Nitzschke (Ann) and Mary Lindblom (Thomas). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
