She was predeceased by: her parents, Carrol Critser and Kathryn Critser (Hosington); her sons, Kevin Keegan and Kenny VeLure; and her sisters, Barbara Gottsch, Jean Walberg and Donna Whaley.
She is survived by: her children, Kelli Tyrrell, Kim Jacobson (Rick), Kandee VanBockern (Jason) and Kari Jo VeLure; her siblings, Nancy Peterson (Ed) and Tom Crister (Deb); and her close friend Laurie Bennet. She is also survived by 13 grandkids; 22 great grandkids; nine great great grandkids.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Minnehaha Funeral Home-Garretson (101 Leslie Dr, Garretson, SD 57030). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Watch Minnehaha Funeral Home-Garretson (101 Leslie Dr, Garretson, SD 57030).
