He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert "Skinny" VanVleck and Pearl VanVleck (Harden); his wife Donna Wolf; and his siblings, Richard "Dick" VanVleck and Marlene Brown (Jack).

He is survived by: his sons, Mark VanVleck of Wall and Chuck VanVleck of Philip. He is also survived by four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
