He was predeceased by : his parents, Harvey Veen and Ann Veen (Lursen); his brothers, Richard and Daryl Veen; his niece Raquel Tirrel; and his siblings-in-law, Wendy Veen, Don Heiser and Dennis Bakke.
He is survived by : his son Chad Dale Veen; his wife Elonne Cole; his daughter-in-law Michelle; his granddaughter Rachel; and his siblings, Harlan Veen (Diane), Gary Veen, Marjorie Heiser, Linda Bakke and Judy (Tom Carnahan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
