He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip R. Steckley and Myrtle Steckley (Scribner); his brother Philip E. Steckley; and his brother-in-law Ernie Kocer. He is survived by: his wife Angie; his daughter Denise Warneke (Bill) of Bennington, NE; his grandchildren, Aaron (Jennifer), Blake, Paige and Elise; his daughter Jane Swenson (Daniel) of Woonsocket, SD; his grandchildren, Sydney, Schyler (Lacey), Savannah (Cohl) and Shay; his son Jim (Janie) of Hartford, SD; his grandchildren, Jennie (Jake), Jason (Kaylee) and JT; his daughter Sally Polak (Tom) of Sioux Falls, SD; and his grandchildren, Holly (Ryan) and Morgan (Matthew).
