He is survived by: his wife Stella Nagel (Weninger); his daughters, Gerri Eide (Shon) and Dawn Nagel; his grandchildren, Hunter of Gettysburg, SD, Tanner of Gettysburg, SD and Bobbi Eide of Gettysburg, SD; his siblings, Herman Nagel (Becky), James Nagel (Roseann) and Irma LeFaive (Tom); and his siblings-in-law, Kathleen Nagel, Mary Nagel, Marcy Swengel, Norb Weninger (Phyllis) and Steve Weninger (Jean). He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
