She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Steve Bretthauer of Parker, CO and Beverly Bretthauer (Alsop) of Englewood, CO; her husband Kevin Ahlemeier of Gettysburg; her children, Kayden of Gettysburg, Haylie of Sioux Falls, Brynlie of Gettysburg and Trynitie of Gettysburg; her grandmother LaVonne Bretthauer of Denver, CO; her stepsiblings, Erin Vincent and Dan Jowers; her aunts and uncles, Kim (Tim Brown), Jerry Bretthauer, Sherm (Reg Alsop), Daniel (Robin Alsop) and James Alsop; her grandfather Dale Bretthauer; and her uncle John Alsop.
