He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence W. Schatz and Eda Mae Schatz (Munyon); and his grandson Brock Schatz. He is survived by: his wife Rosie Schatz of Gettysburg; his children, Mark Schatz of West Fargo, ND, Kristie Charles (CJ) and Angie Tennant (Chad) of Spearfish, SD; his siblings, Donna Wester of Aberdeen, SD and Warren Schatz (Nancy) of Ipswich, SD; his uncle Dean Schatz (Sandy) of Burlington, WA; and his grandchildren, Brody, Shaelyn, Makaivry Schatz, Georgie, Tripp Charles, Lucie, Taylor, Harper and Ainslie Tennant. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
