He was predeceased by: his father Nick Bown; his grandparents, Sidney, Lorraine Bown, Vincent and Katherine Engel; and his uncles, Michael Bown and Leo Engel.
He is survived by: his mother Crystal Bown (Engel) of Pierre; his brother Clayton (Melinda) of Fort Pierre; and his stepnephews, Thomas, Ethan Vetsch of Pierre and Brian Vetsch of Fort Pierre. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Luce Funeral Home (502 E Commercial Ave, Gettysburg, SD 57442). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Lebanon Cemetery.
