With sadness, we share the passing of Lillian Quick of Gettysburg, South Dakota. Lillian, born on April 27, 1934, passed away on September 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Lillian for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Lillian’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences she brought to the world.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry and Lena McNamara (Kettwig); her husband Milton Quick; her sister Darlene Dahlgren; and her grandson Alex Luken.
She is survived by: her children, Ross Quick (Verdyne) of Sioux Falls, Scott Quick (Robin) of Omaha, NE and Kelly Luken (Tim) of Pierre; and her brothers, James and Dan McNamara. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 9:30 AM at the United Methodist Church - Gettysburg (101 E Garfield Ave, Gettysburg, SD 57442). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Mount Hope Cemetery (1333 11th St NE, Watertown, SD 57201).
