He is survived by: his wife Aleta Baum of Gettysburg; his sons, Michael (Kim) of Gettysburg and Mark Goebel (April) of Gettysburg; his grandchildren, Macy Jones (Eli) of Miller, Cassidy Goebel (Trevor Klinnert), Greta Goebel of Sioux Falls, Mason Goebel and Gabby Goebel of Gettysburg; his sisters-in-law, Sharon Goebel of Aberdeen and Linda Baum Ekberg of Mitchell; and his siblings, Dean Goebel of Gettysburg, Bonnie Hagenlock (Roger) of Pierre, Mary Quiett (Donn) of Gettysburg, Barbara (Winston), Forred (Sioux Falls) and Cathy Vetch (Donnie) of Aberdeen.
