With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tommy James Mikkelson of Gettysburg, South Dakota, who passed away on October 29, 2025 at the age of 50. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Kay Mikkelson; his grandparents, Theodore, Ann Mikkelson, Ronald and Ruth Rivenes; his aunt Donna Mae Jerred (Clayton); his nephew R. J. King; his aunt Jo Ann Saint; and his cousin Mark Saint.
He is survived by: his father Tom Mikkelson; his siblings, Ronnie Mikkelson, Angelia Morgan (William) and Laurie Mikkelson; his siblings' children, Megan Mikkelson, Kiley Jimison, Christopher Mikkelson, Johney Mikkelson and Dillon Mikkelson (Alexis); and his cousin Ted Jerred (Tracy). He is also survived by four great-nephews, and many cousins, aunts and uncles.
