He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Donald Fieber (Don) and Eugene Hetmer; and his cousin Jill Wagner. He is survived by: his parents, Tom Fieber and Debbie Fieber; his wife Kari (Hogie); his children, Zach (Ashely), Alivia and Luke; his grandmothers, Orma Fieber and Patricia Hetmer (Pat); his siblings, Jeannean (Tom), Julie (Ryan), Paul, Donald (Sam), Katrina (Adison), Joe (Chantelle), Amy (Ty) and Dominic (Jared); his parents-in-law, Jerry and Linda; and his siblings-in-law, Laurie (Ben) and Brian (Katie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and the many family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel (1111 4th St NE, Watertown, SD 57201). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Cornerstone Church (1350 11th St NE, Watertown, SD 57201).
The family prefers that memorials be directed toward Chris' children's educational expenses or the Goodwin Fire Department located at 142 Bowdoin St, Goodwin, SD 57238.
