He was predeceased by: his parents, Wally Nierman and Ann Nierman (Goldin); his parents-in-law, Donna Bahr and Orville Bahr; his sister Jenan Nilson; his son-in-law Phillip Adler; and his sister-in-law Elda Nierman.
He is survived by: his siblings, Janis Havens (Bill) of Denver, CO and Jon Nierman of Corvallis, MT. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
