He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Michael Kampa and Darlys Kampa (James) of Groton; his wife Rita Biggs; his children, Scott Kampa (Myndi) of Groton, Kerry Kampa of Belle Fourche and Chad Kampa of Groton; his grandchildren, Tristan, Jaeger, Dacey and Dane; and his siblings, Darwin Kampa of Sioux Falls, Derwin Kampa (Amy) of Aberdeen, Mike Kampa of Bath, Darlyne Kampa Daly of Aberdeen and Dwight "Toad" Kampa.
