It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lila Olson (Groton, South Dakota), who passed away on April 9, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Ivan Herr, Elmer Herr, Beverly McComsey and Darlene Madsen; her husband Henry Ball; her children, Loretta Avery and Roger Ball; her sons-in-law, Howard Dirksen, Earl Steinhoff and Jerry Lehman; and her stepsons, Roy Olson and Phillip Olson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet and Barbara; her former husband Maurice Olson; her daughters-in-law, Ranae Ball, Barbara Hoefler (Jerry) and Janet Lehman; her sister-in-law Merry Jo Ball; her stepdaughter Eileen Brandt; her stepdaughters-in-law, Ginny Olson and Debra McKiver; and also, Verdon and Janet.
