He is survived by: his wife Kathy Tastad; his sons, John Sippel (Lisa) of Groton and Doug Sippel of Groton; his son-in-law Tom Strom of Groton; his grandchildren, Amanda Sippel, Allison Sippel (Tanner Lemon), Kaylee Sippel, Garrett Belden (Emily), Greg Belden, Alicia Burrer (Colin), Wyatt Kurtz (Megan), Clayton Kurtz (Aimee), Holden Sippel and Gage Sippel; his great grandchildren, Waylon Lemon, Violet Belden, Brantley Belden, Addison Gauer, Finley, Olivia Burrer, Wrenley and Jorie Kurtz; and his brothers, Bob Sippel of Aberdeen and Rex Sippel (Cindy) of Groton.
