We are sad to announce that, on February 25, 2026, at the age of 64, Dana D Oas of Harrisburg, South Dakota, born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Durell "Pat" Oas and Shirley Weeks-Frevik; his brother Alan Oas; his parents-in-law, Bill and Alice Kruse; and his brother-in-law Jim Gulbranson.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Kruse Oas of Harrisburg, SD; his siblings, Vicki Allen of Las Vegas, NV, Karen Peterson (Barton) of Missoula, MT and Galen Oas of Sioux Falls, SD; his sisters-in-law, Kim Gulbranson of Paynesville, MN and Sandy Hamman (Phil) of Sioux City, IA; and his nieces and nephews, Jason Oas, Melissa Dorris, Kirsten Allen, Nathan Allen, Sara Allen, Heather Codwell, Anthony Peterson (Jen), Joshua Peterson (Barb), James Gulbranson, Jordan Hamman and Angela Houser (Jason).
Memorials may be directed to the Mary Jo Wegner Arboretum, East Side Lutheran Church, or to an organization of your choosing that fosters kindness and humanity.
