He is survived by: his children, Stacey DeGroot of Sioux Falls, Michael DeGroot of Harrisburg and Daniel DeGroot (Becca) of Waconia, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Jordan DeGroot, Jayla Meeks, Norah DeGroot and McKenna DeGroot; his sister Pat Wehrenberg of LaCrosse, WI; Mazie DeGroot. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
