He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Carl, Dorothy Walz, Gerald and Edith Gonderinger; his aunt Carol Walz; his uncles, Dave Macy and Monte Hartung; and his cousin Dean Jeffrey.
He is survived by: his sons, Weston and Easton Walz of Harrisburg, SD; the mother of his children Heather Walz; his parents, Don Walz and Andrea Walz of Sioux Falls, SD; his brothers, Matt Walz (Laura) of Sioux Falls, SD and Scott Walz (Courtney) of Sioux Falls, SD; and his nieces and nephews, Clara, Vivian, Violet, Jensen and Leah Walz.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the George Boom Funeral Home (3408 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
