We bid farewell to Ronald Lee Jessen of Harrold, South Dakota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 24, 2025 at the age of 78. Ronald touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Jessen and Pauline Jessen (Hieb); his brother Marvin Jessen; his nieces, Susan Jessen and Robin Coble (Hohrman); and his nephew Todd Ramsey.
He is survived by: his sisters, Delores Husted (Roger) and Ruth Hohrman (Harney); his nieces and nephews, Shanard Husted (Jackie), Dwight Husted (Suzanne), Pandora Kusser (Rod), Chad Husted (Vickie), James Jessen (Stacey), Julie Thompson (Jeremy), Jon Jessen (Janelle), Steven Jessen (Tonja), Jay Coble, Scott Hohrman (Helen), Travis Hohrman (Joann) and Brandi Mattison; and his sister-in-law Mary Jessen. He is also survived by 30 grand-nieces and nephews; and 16 great-grand nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank all those who helped care for Ronnie during his battle with Parkinson's over the years, whether it was providing care while he was still at home or the wonderful staff at Highmore Nursing Home.
