He is survived by: his children, Sherry Nelson (Jeff) of Crooks, SD and A. J. (Janet) of Wichita, KS; his grandchildren, Jason Nelson (Gena) of Harrisburg, SD, Kaitlyn Tow (Brendan) of Thornton, CO, Rachel Wilson of Wichita, KS and Katie Malone (Sean) of Wichita, KS; his great grandchildren, Johnathon Wilson, Kyzer and Kayson Malone; his sister Myrna Cunningham of Gainesville, GA; and his sibling's children, Patty and Mike Fitzmaurice of Hartford, SD. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home Hartford Chapel (600 S Western Ave, Hartford, SD 57033). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. George Catholic Parish (100 N Mundt Ave, Hartford, SD 57033). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. George Catholic Cemetery (100 N Mundt Ave, Hartford, SD 57033).
