He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley "Fritz" Dinger and Kathryn "Kate" Dinger (Lewis). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Wolff of John's Lutheran Church; his children, Derrick Dinger (Kristen) of West Fargo, ND, Levi Dinger (Jes) of Houghton, SD, Kayle Dinger (Emmy) of Houghton, SD and DaRae Jones (K. C.) of Britton, SD.; his grandchildren, Michael Powers-Dinger (Ashlyn Sperry), Hudson, Baylor, Breckyn Dinger, Camden, Talon Dinger, Lenyx, Kandrick and Merit Jones; his siblings, Eugene Dinger (Twyla), Cathy Telin (Tyler), Dennis Dinger, Carmen Siefkes (David) and Paula Maddocks (Ronnie); and his sisters-in-law, Jerrolyn Lang (Rod), Brinda Elsen (Rich) and Lisa Johnson (Rick). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (511 Main St, Hecla, SD 57446). A prayer was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at the Hecla City Cemetery (40320 104th St, Hecla, SD 57446).
