We bid farewell to Donald Krause of Hecla, South Dakota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 5, 2025 at the age of 82. Donald touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Krause and Talena Krause (Malpert); his wife LuWanna Funston Swanson; his daughter Kelly Bushby; and his siblings, Carol Gillespie, Beverly Elsen and Norman Krause.
He is survived by: his son Cody Krause; his sisters, Dorothy Schroeder, Patricia Bell (Richard), Sharon White (Lonnie) and Sandra Krause; his grandsons, Landon Bushby and Lance Bushby; and his son-in-law Randy Bushby.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (511 Main St, Hecla, SD 57446).
