It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Raymond Knecht (Hecla, South Dakota), who passed away on April 25, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Knecht and Ellanora "Ella" Knecht (Bartholome); and his wife Ilene M. Olson. He is survived by : his daughters, Vicki Hehn (Robert L.) of Aberdeen, Linda Elsen (David) of Aberdeen and Debra Knecht of Aberdeen. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 7 step-great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.
