He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Betty May Ward and Vernon Brunner; his brother Jeff; his father-in-law Melvin Astin; his adoptive father Melvin Astin; his former wife Debra Lynn Brown; his children, David, Joseph, Susan, Matthew, Michelle, Joshua, Luke, Paul and Loving Jesus; and his grandson Jesus.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Kirk Funeral Home (1051 E Minnesota St, Rapid City, SD 57701). A burial was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Highland Park Cemetery.
