She was predeceased by: her husband Steve; her parents, Joe Wolf and Martha Wolf; her parents-in-law, Anton and Rofina Volk; her grandsons, Tommy Ryckman and Barry Volk; and her brothers-in-law, Victor, Ray, Gilbert, Albert, James, Martin, Roger and Rodney.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Jr., Robin Ryckman (Tom), Greg Volk (Shelly), Jack Volk (Sue), Bob Volk (Tracy), Buffy Schuetzle (Brad) and Mari Pat Gauer (Grant); her grandchildren, Stephanie Ryckman, Jade Sauter (Evan), Tony Volk (Cassie), Nick Volk (Kelsey), Joe Volk (Kate), Ben Volk (Jordyn), Erika Stahlman (Derek), Adam Volk (Karissa), Jacob Volk, Noah, Reagan Schuetzle and Jaxon Volk; her great grandchildren, Kallie, Maddie, Hadley Volk, Landyn, Mady, Eli Sauter, Payton, Presley Volk, Sophia, Greta Volk, Berkley, Greyson Volk, Nicklyn, Stetson, Colton Volk, Raya, Reid Stahlman and Stephan Volk; her brother Patrick Flint; and her sisters-in-law, Florence Tough-Gartner, Lillian Volk and Claudia Volk. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A prayer was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (106 2nd Ave, Herreid, SD 57632). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
