He is survived by: his wife Vickie Mattke; his children, Hollie Barrie of Huron, Scott Gilbert of Huron, Lyza Bixler (Zane) of Hitchcock and Matt Gilbert (Brenda) of Hitchcock; his grandchildren, Josh Barrie, Kymberlie Smith (Jordan), Jared Barrie (Brandi), Heather Chaplin (Cole), Erin Leidholt (Logan), Jennfier LaBrie, Jessica LaBrie, Tanner Gilbert, Ryan Bixler, Bennett Bixler, Grady Gilbert and Emmitt Gilbert; his great grandchildren, Blake, Beckett, Jovi, Sutton, Cooper, Makenna Savvy, Luka, Hudson, McKoy and Leo; and his siblings, Gary Gilbert (Donna), Judy Mendel (Dave) and Janice Foster (Curt). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
