He is survived by: his spouse Jan Simon; his sons, Matthew Huizenga (Melissa) of Platte, SD, Michael Huizenga (Tara) of Hitchcock, SD, Bradley Huizenga (Jeana) of Zell, SD and Brian Huizenga (Megan) of Wessington, SD.; his grandchildren, Isabell, Rachel, Rebecca, Paisley, Lane, Westin, Piper, Tate Monte, Grace, Braiden and Burton; his brother Greg (Kay); and his sister-in-law Cheri Carlson. He is also survived by his family, including his children and grandchildren.
