It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlene Colwell of Hot Springs, South Dakota, who passed away on September 13, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Roth and Othilla Roth (Landenberger); her husband Floyd; and her siblings, Virginia Dorale, Wilmar Roth, Wyman Roth, Russell Roth, Charles Roth and Adela Roth.
She is survived by : her daughter Arlene; her former life partner Ralph Van Buskirk; her stepdaughter Christy Baumiller (Scott); her children, Bruce Van Buskirk (Roxanne) and Lisa Thompson (Doug); her grandchildren, Cathy, Craig, Jennifer, Brett, Alex, Cole and Cooper; her great grandchildren, Ryan, Grant and Jackson; and her brothers, Darald Roth (Diana), Loren Roth and Oren "Shorty" Roth (Alice). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Arlene was always an animal lover, especially cats and horses, so in lieu of flowers, the family would ask that you consider making a donation in her name to your favorite animal charity.
