David leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. David’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ludington and Virginia Joslin. He is survived by: his children, Benjamin Ludington (Cristina), Daniel Ludington (Katie) and Patricia Afraid (Norman) of Bear; and his grandchildren, Sydney, Joaquin, Laela, Draysen, Aron, Addison and Kennidee.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Hill City Cemetery (12452-12498 Harney Peak W Rd, Hill City, SD 57745).
