Dialo O. Schmidt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dialo O. Schmidt in Hot Springs, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Schmidt and Leone Schmidt; his friend Gerry Dehne Rathert; his wife Margaret Kluck; his daughter Kathy (Gerry); his siblings, Bevan Schmidt and Beverly Shaw; his son-in-law George Holmes; and his stepgranddaughter Laura Holmes.
He is survived by: his sisters, Charlotte Bohling and Myrna Linder; his children, Randy Schmidt (Patsy), Vickie Holmes and Kelly Blair (Jay); his son-in-law Dennis Walker; his grandchildren, Lisa, Amanda, Tony, Lezlie, Danielle, Allison and Brandon; his stepgrandsons, Bill and George Holmes; his great grandchildren, Matte, Adrik, Jantzen, Will, Keison, Aubrynne, Rhyan, Kai, Jackson, Adison and Ayda; and his stepchildren, Gail, Clint, Deanna, Randy, Bonni, Lance, Bret, Bart, Kelly, Marti, Roger and Kyra.
