He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Lawrence John Oberpriller and Shirley Ann (Parsons) Oberpriller; siblings: Margaret (Scott) Cordts, Sally Ford, and Paul (Kim) Oberpriller; nieces and nephews: Cristin (Brook) Fischer, Alyssa (Chris) Cordts, Brian (BreAnna) Ford, Mallory (Lance) Linderman, and Jacob (Christina) Oberpriller; close friends: Julie Miller and her family; honorary granddaughter: Roxas Miller; other: Andrew Ford, Brenden, Corbin, Milo, Maverick, Cade, Dane, Mia, Isla, and Iliza; and six great-nephews and three great-nieces.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (538 University Ave, Hot Springs, SD 57747). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
