With solemn reverence, we commemorate Janet Bernard of Hot Springs, South Dakota, born in Presho, South Dakota, whose life came to an end on July 30, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her husband William; her children, Jerry, Shawn Beck and Leilani Homelvig; and her parents, Adolph Atkinson and Mayme Atkinson.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Beck, Jeannie Beck and Rhonda McGaa (Dale); her stepdaughters, Kimberly Nelson (Duane), Bonnie Bernard, Connie Bernard and Danielle Ennenga (Todd); and her sisters, Loretta Kern, June McComb, Jane Barlow and Debbie Anderson. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Chautauqua Park (Co Rd 18B, Hot Springs, SD 57747).
