He is survived by: his wife Jan; his daughters, Elizabeth (Glen Peterson) of Golden, CO. and Cydnie (Tim Duffy) of Loveland, CO; his grandchildren, Avery, Lane, Daely Peterson, Logan, Garrett and Lucy Duffy; his siblings, Larry Simunek, David Simunek of Rapid City, SD and Shirley Brown (Larry) of Omaha, NE; and his siblings-in-law, Sherri Raschke of Burke, SD, Laurie Wernke (Douglas) of Lennox, SD, Matthew Bartling of Herrick, SD and Krista Holliday (Dean) of Orchard, NE.
The military honors will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Highland Cemetery South.
