He was predeceased by: his parents, John Charles and Marion Henrietta Britton (Pomeroy); his wife Ruth Marvin (Pond); his children, John Joseph, Jackie George and Ruth Virginia Braddish (Charles); his siblings, Robert, Jesse, Charles (Lester), Marion Dodd and Karen McCleery; his grandson Rudy Toman; and his great grandchild Cody Toman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Christine (James) and Norine Baird (Robert) of Hot Springs, SD. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren; several sister/brother-in-laws; numerous nieces and nephews; friends.
