He was predeceased by: his parents, August Schuett and Martha Schuett (Hill); his siblings, Kathryn Macke (Al), Phyllis Macke (Bernard), Bob Schuett (Evelyn) and Darrell Schuett (Erma); and his great grandchildren, Kasen Johnson and Wylie Lynn Meredith.
He is survived by: his wife Shari Glynn Thompson; his daughters, Khari Pegoda (Gene) of Huntsville and Billie Jo Tieken (Bruce) of Gonzales; his grandchildren, David Ross Tieken, Shelby Meredith (Lynn) and Katie Johnson (Streater); his great grandchildren, Hunter Tieken and Rhett Meredith; and his brother Myron Schuett (Nancy). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, great-great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church (1206 N St Joseph St, Gonzales, TX 78629).
