We are sad to announce that on February 10, 2024, at the age of 88, Marian Phelps in Hot Springs, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Elmer Borgen and Edna Borgen; her former life partner Gerald Rockvam; her husband Sidney Phelps of Hot Springs, SD; and her brother Howard Borgen.
She is survived by : her children, Loni, Perry, Brett and Jan; her grandchildren, Michael Johnson, Mark Johnson (Jenn), Laura Johnson, Josh Rockvam, Katie Gray (Todd), Lindsay Kirkbride (Taylor), Matthew Pulkrabek, Abram Pulkrabek (Julia) and Eli Pulkrabek (Kaitlyn); her great grandchildren, Adoniram, Annabelle, Adelynn Johnson, Brooks Gray, Myles, Mason Kirkbride and Alayna Pulkrabek; her stepchildren, Susan Sutton (EG) of Anchorage, AK, Tami Phelps (Kerry) of Anchorage, AK, Jay Phelps of Hot Springs, SD, John Phelps (Barbara) of Anchorage, AK and Jim Phelps (Heather) of Sherwood, OR.; her stepgrandchildren, Michael Wise (Sara), Amy Wise, Adrianna, Jade Phelps, Zane and Jack Phelps; and her great grandchildren, Derrik Wise (Kenzi), Hannah, Tanner and Carter Wise.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Spearfish United Church of Christ and the Center of Hope in Sioux Falls, SD.
