She was predeceased by: her parents, Willi Hesse and Hedwig Hesse (Reiss); her husband Richard Miller (Gene); and her granddaughter Jennifer. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Miller (Penni) of Hot Springs, Michael Krause (Teresa) of Kalamazoo and Karen Cain (Leon) of Hot Springs; her brother Ralf Hesse (Wulfeld) of Germany; and her close friend Sandy. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Ursday Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home- Hot Springs (401 N Garden St, Hot Springs, SD 57747). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
