Edward Artz Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Artz and Marion Artz (Roberts); his wives, Evelyn Placek and Wanda Meyer; his sons, Melvin Placek and Michael Placek; his son-in-law Douglas Koch; his sister Caroline Domke; and his brothers-in-law, Alden Niewenhuis, Benjamin Domke and Robert Wieczorek.

He is survived by: his children, Chris Artz (Beth) of Baltic and Sharon Koch (Mike Hepper) of Plankinton; his daughter-in-law Linda Rae Placek (Barry Snodgrass) of Pierre; and his siblings, Mildred Niewenhuis, Barbara Wieczorek, Kenneth Artz (Sharon), Donna Vruegdenhil (Larry) and David Artz Sr.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Memorials will be directed to the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery of Stickney, SD, to assist with maintenance.
