He is survived by: his children, Kevin Hanisch (Calista), Lori Jensen (Rich), Paula Johnson (Mark) and Andy Hanisch (Julie); his grandchildren, Bryce Hanisch, Weston Hanisch, Quinn Hanisch (Brianne), Tristan Hanisch, Brooke Metz (Jason), Michael Jensen (Rachel), Brendan Jensen, Aaron Johnson (Hailey), Jeremy Johnson (Allie), Ryan Johnson (Rachel), Jace Hanisch and Ashlyn Hanisch; his great grandchildren, Miles, Eva Metz, Charlee Johnson, Everli, Jett, Remi Johnson and Hayes Johnson; his siblings, Loren Hanisch (Marjorie), Walt Hanisch (Kay), Mary Huls (John) and Hilary Hanisch (Bridget); and his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Harden, Ron Bannwarth (Diane), Diane Siemonsma (Vince), Jean Vilhauer (Clayton), Steve Bannwarth (Norma) and Mike Bannwarth (Mary Kay). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
