With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Sechser (Humboldt, South Dakota), born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 12, 2025 at the age of 83. She is survived by: her husband Norman Sechser; her children, Mike Sechser (Demara), Mark Sechser (Gina), Todd Sechser (Tamara), Jolene Robinson (Jeff) and Janel Sechser (Julie); and her sisters, June Ginnings and Joyce Heidemann (Bob). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Ann Catholic Church (204 S Jefferson St, Humboldt, SD 57035).
