He is survived by: his spouse Wanelda Callies; his children, Tricia Sundeen (Ross) of Watford City, ND, Rodney Merriam (Misti) of Sioux Falls, Roger Merriam (Kris) of Watertown and Troy Merriam (Carrie) of Huron; his grandchildren, Maddie Schnell (Alex), Connor Merriam, Brittany Schwieger (Justin), Quinn Merriam, Mollie Merriam (Jordan), Gerrit Merriam (Betty), Chrystal Merriam, Olivia Dwyer (Tommy), Addison Sundeen (Casey) and Avery Suter (John William); his great grandchildren, Graham, Jax, Blakely, Cortland, Lavin, Rhep and Rossi; and his brother Rick Merriam (Gloria).
