She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Petersen (Wells) and William Petersen; her grandparents, Gann Valley, Emma (Johnson) of Norway, William Wells, Caroline (Westphal) of Germany and Peter Petersen of Denmark; her granddaughter Sharmaine Hawes; her brother Ronald Petersen (Alona Petersen); and her siblings-in-law, Sandra Weisner and Donald Brenner.
She is survived by: her husband Arlan Brenner; her brother Larry Petersen (Janice); her sister-in-law Shirley Brenner; her daughters, Zonya Tantype (Darryl), Zandra Ankle and Zeyna Kleinsasser (Dean); and her grandchildren, Tonya Thomas, Marisa Redlinger (Brad), Antonio Franklin Jr., Sean Franklin, Jasmine Hawes, Cecelia Kleinsasser, Madeline Kleinsasser and Jacob Kleinsasser. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
