We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2024, at the age of 91, Betty Severtson of Huron, South Dakota, born in Devils Lake, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Howard Nixon and Cora Nixon (Hatten); her husband Lloyd Severtson; her sister Beverly Bragg; and her brothers-in-law, Roland Moilanen and Howard Bragg.

She is survived by : her children, Byron Severtson (Cheryl) of Huron, Coreen Roseth (Julian) of Midland, SD and Luanne Vining (Kevin) of Baltic, SD; and her sister Patty Moilanen of Bismarck, ND. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
