He is survived by: his wife Megan Hine (McDermaid); his children, Cassie Valer (Cullen Beals), Libby Heyer and Blaise Simon (Shelby Pekron); and his siblings, Jim Scheele and Betty Derksen.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sharing /// Ursday Kuhler Funeral Home (1360 Dakota Ave S, Huron, SD 57350). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Kuhler Funeral Home (1360 Dakota Ave S, Huron, SD 57350).
