She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Cronin (Kobriger) and Leo Cronin; her husband Harold Doolittle; her brothers, Jim, William and Kenneth Cronin; her son-in-law Bob Melody; and her nephew Dennis Cronin.

She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Melody of Huron and Debbie Wagner (Ralph) of Las Vegas, Nevada; her grandchildren, Kristin Campbell (Joe), Brian Melody (Kaci), Matthew Wagner (Ashley) and Michael Wagner (Ronnie); and her great grandchildren, Evan, Aleah Campbell, Gavin, Charlotte Wagner, Noelle and Finnegan Wagner.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Welter Funeral Home (267 3rd St SE, Huron, SD 57350). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A rosary was held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 6:45 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish (425 21st St SW, Huron, SD 57350).
