He was predeceased by: his parents, John Roache Jr. and Pat Roache (Parsons). He is survived by: his son Brad VanRay (Tressa); his grandchildren, Madelyn of Carrington, Anastyn of Carrington, Kennedy of Carrington, Theodore of Carrington and Livia of Carrington; and his sisters, Sandra Gilchrist (Jon) of Bixby, Oklahoma, Suzanne Vandeberg (Curt Kempf) of Huron and Carrie Nipe (Chris) of Madison. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
