She is survived by: her daughter Gail Kjelden (Jeff); her grandchildren, Billy (Rachael), Stacie and Grace Kjelden; her great grandchildren, Benjamin and Hannah Kjelden; and her stepsons, Brett, Bill and Tim Hampton. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Welter Funeral Home (267 3rd St SE, Huron, SD 57350). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at the St. Martin Cemetery.
